YET ANOTHER SILLY POEM

i can no longer gaze to place
my feelings in such a simple phrase
for dear life has gotten so cruel
it glitters deceitfully like jewels

how can i cleverly hide
all my sadness that breeds inside
no amount of screens would suffice
and they for sure wouldn't deny this

i take my time to fully understand
ignoring the rapid fall of sands
no hourglass would best replace
the hours that have gone to waste

i always believe that humans are equal
but some lucky ones get to shoot their sequels
that further stamp their lasting power
and sometimes showcase its lacklustre

i try to see things in a different light
only to end up in meaningless fights
what shame would be without humiliation
what war would be without retaliation

i want to shut up but i just can't
injustice will make me endlessly rant
i no longer care what he wants to say
he is free to have his way
